On Thursday, the equity benchmark is a mildly lower start in the morning session, with the nifty above 10,800-mark. The BSE Sensex is down 55.09 points or 0.15 percent at 36157.82. and the NSE Nifty falls 26.15 points or 0.25% at 10829.00. The market breadth is a decline as 312 shares advanced, against a decline of 376 shares, while 37 shares were unchanged.

Metals Index and Consumption are trading up, while down among banks and pharmaceuticals. and Nifty Midcap Index was trading flat.

The share of Ashok Leyland rose 2.7 percent in the early trade on Thursday. The company bagged an order to provide buses from state transport.

The company bagged orders form three state, IRT (Institute of road transport, Chennai), UPSRTC (Uttar Pradesh State Roadways Transport Corporation ) and CTU (Chandigarh Transport Undertaking) for 2580 buses.
